What is Center Awareness Day?

Every year on October 19, we come together to celebrate the vital role that LGBTQ+ Centers play in our communities. As LGBTQ+ issues gain increased recognition locally, nationally, and globally, this day serves as a powerful platform to raise awareness about the profound impact of LGBTQ+ Centers.

LGBTQ+ Center Awareness Day is our chance to:

  • Highlight the essential contributions of LGBTQ+ Centers in neighborhoods and on campuses.
  • Recognize the dedication of our supporters and volunteers.
  • Educate the world about our mission and accomplishments.

CenterLink has championed LGBTQ+ Center Awareness Day, inspiring a deeper understanding of the incredible work that LGBTQ+ Community Centers do for their communities. Join us in making a difference and raising awareness. Together, we create change and foster acceptance.
